Join me at the Health, Healing, and Happiness Conference in Las Vegas next month! This is their second year, and I’m so excited to attend, especially since I didn’t get a chance to go last year. With all the events that go on in Vegas, it’s not often that we get one focused on health, inside and out. This one is tailored just for you guys! It’s Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16, 2013 at the Springs Preserve.
Keynote speakers include Brendan Brazier, Dr. John McDougall, and Dr. Thomas Lodi, and there will be over 20 total speakers. Topics include nutrition, spirituality, personal development, and fitness, as well as food demos, documentary premieres, and a vendor marketplace. Each morning starts off with 4o minutes of mind-body fitness with yoga or tai chi.

The premise behind Health, Healing, and Happiness is the SANVIVO wheel. Complete wellness balances these six spokes: nutrition, exercise, spiritual, personal development, environmental, and social. If one spoke of your wheel is shorter (less developed) than the others, your wheel is still not going to turn properly. That’s why people can be skinny fat or be raw vegans with chronic fatigue!
Founder Ina Mohan is a sweetheart and an active pillar of the healthy-living community here in Las Vegas. She’s a perfect example of why we can’t write off “unlikely places” like Las Vegas just because we think they aren’t healthy-living friendly. Even in Vegas, our community is growing.
